HTML5 version of course does not retain slide status

Jul 25, 2013

We are testing a possible solution to this. We found we had a few T/F variables in the course and they are not compatible with html5. I can't find out to delete my post, so am just updating.

I have a main menu within the course. When a user completes a section, there is a variable on the last page of that section that then is set to change the state of the button on the menu to complete (showing a checkmark) when the timeline starts on the menu. This is working on a desktop, but is not working in HTML5. There are at times random checkmarks in sections I have not completed and at other times, the correct checkmark displays, but then if I exit and re-enter the course, the all of the checkmarks are gone. This is only happening when viewing the html5 version. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Hi Sana,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you're running into a similar issue. It looks like Kelley was testing a possible solution on her own, so I do not have an update to provide there.

This thread is a bit dated and I'm not sure if she's still subscribed. If you could let us know what you're running into, we'd be happy to help you out.
