Not being able to directly export my classes to mp4 from Articulate has been a problem for a while and forced me to keep a Captivate subscription too. I thought Peek would help me get around that. However, any audio that *is already in my classes* (SMEs talking, not me) is not captured. Is there a setting in Peek that I am not seeing that would let me capture audio that is being played back in the window I am capturing? Thanks for any assistance.
Hello Stacy - Hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in and assist you with this. You may find some assistance in this thread from a fellow community member as I know it has worked for users in both Storyline and Replay, so perhaps it will work for Peek as well.
I selected my computer's mic (only option) and it didn't pick up any audio. I've been using Screencast-o-Matic for years. You might like to try it Stacy. I thought Peek would be comparable but it's not. Screencast-o-Matic is much better because I can edit my videos (like crop the beginning or end, or even in the middle), show or hide the mouse, etc. I don't see how Peek is helpful at all, unless you get it right the first time everytime.
