Text Variable Issue

I wonder if someone can help. I've just recently published a course that has a TextEntry variable which has been referenced on one slide (the welcome slide) and it is working fine when I preview entire project, and when it is published in 360 review.
However, I've just published another course with a TextEntry variable and it works fine when I preview entire project, but when I publish it in 360 review the TextEntry variable doesn't seem to work (show) in the course.
The difference between the two projects:
1st one only had a Text Entry variable on the opening screen to show the person name on the next welcome screen.
2nd one I have used a TextEntry variable and referenced it in more areas of the course (the welcome slide, quiz opening slide, success and failure layers on the results page and the closing page).
Have I done something wrong? I don't think I have as it works when you preview the entire project. Hoping someone can help.

Hard to say without seeing how the file is setup. There may be a trigger that is resetting the variable but can't say for sure.
If you share the file I'm sure someone can help you to troubleshoot.
Ok let me check the triggers first and I'll let you know how I get. It's a
rather large file.
Did you know you can click on the number in the variable list and it tells you every slide it's used on?
