TIP: Using Review 360 for different types of HTML courses, e.g. Captivate

Hi everybody,

Have you ever wished to upload your Captivate course to the Review 360 platform?

This is doable in conjunction with Storyline.

Here are 6 simple steps:

1. Publish the Captivate course to your computer and rename index_scorm.html to index.html.

2. Check the dimension of the Captivate course (Publish -> More button, or Modify -> Rescale Project) and note it down.

3. Create a new, Playerless Storyline project (Home tab -> Player -> Menus & Controls: Off):

4. Set the proper dimensions in Storyline (Design tab -> Story Size) – use the data noted before:

5. Insert the course as a web object on the first empty slide. To do that, go to Insert -> Web Object and choose the folder where your published Captivate course is – it should be the one that contains index.html file. Leave the default options (i.e. Display in slide and Load web object automatically checked). Click Ok.

6. Publish course to Articulate Review 360 and enjoy.

Side note: you can apply this method to different types of html courses, not just Captivate ones. Hope you will find this useful and please feel free to share any other/similar ideas on how to utilize Articulate tools and capabilities for various workarounds for some rare situations or requirements.
