3D-viewer in Rise360

Can it or will it  be possible to embed 3D-models in Rise 360? For example with models from Sketchlab or similar services.

I know it is possible to do this with a script in Storyline:

The best option would be to upload a 3D-file (FBX, OBJ etc) directly and view it in Rise 360.

  • Hi there, Christian. Right now, you can embed 3d models that are hosted externally by using the embed block from the multimedia block library.

We'll let you know if we add an interaction type that supports 3d file formats, but for now, using an external platform like Sketchfab.com will be the way to go.

  • Thank you for yor answer, this function works and will do for now.

    Looking forward for future updates.

    Regards Christian

  • is there any update on this functionality please? I'd love to be able to use USDZ files in our learning.

  • same thing here, I would like that function to do self hosting in rise 360 instead of embedded.

That can elevated rise360 on next level of online courses.
