Accessibility question: paragraph font size vs. header - Rise 360

Jan 06, 2023

Hey folks -- an accessibility question:

If I increase the font size of a paragraph text, will a screen reader recognize that as a header? I know that reading order is important for screen readers, so I just want to make sure that I'm staying inclusive. Thanks!

Hi Andrew!

Screen readers recognize headers vs. body text in the way the text is encoded. You'll want to use the various header and body text options in the text blocks (shown below) to ensure your screen reader reads the text in the correct order.
