Hi, I have seen old posts regarding this topic, but I wanted to flag it again for the developers or see if anyone has a workaround.
Our courses have audio narration added for all text. I know screen-readers can do this for people with a vision impairment, but many of our learners are English Learners who don't use screen readers yet appreciate deeply having the audio along with the text.
Is there any workaround to add multimedia to the course landing/description page? The lack of this feature seems to be a huge accessibility hindrance.
Media such as audio and videos aren't supported yet in the Description section of Rise courses. We're tracking requests for this feature, and we'll keep you posted on any updates that can help! Thanks for sharing your use case, and I'll be sure to forward this to our team as well.
There aren't any workarounds in Rise, but I'll defer to the community for possible workarounds in the published/exported output.
