If I trigger a continue button for "all blocks above," does that only apply to the section or to the entire course?
What this stemmed from: In some of my courses, we narrate sections, but also include written text. I'd like learners to have the option to listen to the audio, but not make it mandatory. When I use continue blocks for other activates (ie, tabs or sorting), it includes requiring learners to listen to the audio portion as well, which I don't want. It's letting them bypass continue blocks, get to the end of the course, but not record completion because they skipped a block (an audio, which isn't supposed to be mandatory).
Good question! The option for "Complete All Blocks above" only tracks block completion in the lesson in which it's contained. It does not track across multiple lessons in the course.
You can also restrict navigation so that for learners to continue forward, they must complete the lesson they're in. You can read more about controlling navigation here.
