I am having trouble getting some logo images to fit in properly when selecting “course images” in themes under cover page. What specific size does my image need to be (width/height) in order to fit?
Cover page images are full width, and they're fully responsive according to the screen size where your course is being viewed. Your cover page image might appear cropped in different ways on different screens. We recommend avoiding images where you'll lose important details when it comes to full width image containers in Rise.
You can read more about best practices for media in this article. In the meantime, there is a smaller logo option for your cover page found on the bottom of your cover page settings.

I should have added that the image I am trying to upload here is 12.03cm in W and 3cm in H and is scaled proportionally
