Hi Everyone - I'm new to articulate and am very excited to be building a custom course for a client. They will load the final course into LITMOS. I don't have experience with LITMOS and wonder if anyone here does? What file-type needs to be exported from Rise to fit with this system?
LITMOS is a learning management system (LMS), so you'll want to export the Rise 360 course for LMS. You can find detailed steps for that process in this article:
We use the Litmos platform and you will find it straightforward. Do these things:
Export as LMS - we use SCORM 1.2 as the standard
Select the Content Tab in Litmos, followed by the create a new course option
Set up the title and description in Litmos, save this.
Choose the add module option
Fill in the detail
Upload the zip file you created in Step 1 - you will notice that your zip file has your module name followed by some generated characters, so what we do before we upload the zip is to rename the file to remove those characters so just the module name remains - this means that in Litmos your module name will be the name you choose.
In Litmos choose to launch the module in a separate window when the learner accesses the content - this will help the learner not lose their place when running the module, because if they abruptly close their browser then they will still have their litmos dashboard running in their browser.
