Creating and Sharing Rise 360 Templates

Oct 13, 2021

Is there a way to create a custom template in Rise 360 and share that template with my teammates who have access to Rise?

Hi Maureen! If you want to create a full course template, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new Rise 360 course, and design it as a template course.
  2. When the template is complete, send a copy of the template course to anyone who needs access to it.
  3. Other authors can duplicate that template course anytime they want to design a new course based on that template.

Let me know if you have any questions about that process!

Hi Karl,

That was what I was following, that's why I am questioning this thread.  I have included the options available to me in the attachment as per my message which may help to understand the issue. If you can let me know where the template option is I would be grateful.

Hi Renu,

There is no "create course template" option if that's what you are looking for.

Here is what we did to create a course template:

Create a new blank Rise course and call it Rise new course template.

Set up all the options:

  • Cover Page
  • Navigation
  • Lesson headers
  • Colors
  • Fonts
  • Etc.

Set up common Lessons that should appear in all courses, etc.

Now whenever we start a new Rise project, we make a copy of the course Rise new course template, rename it and then start adding course content.
