Can Rise save Storyline 360 block progress and results?

I've uploaded a Storyline 360 drag and drop interaction into Rise. However, when I move on to another section within the lesson the Storyline block resets and all progress is lost.

The Storyline slide is set to 'resume saved state' when it's revisited. Is there a way to have Storyline blocks resume their saved state upon revisiting in Rise?

  • Hi Celina,

Storyline courses in Rise always start over from the beginning when learners revisit them. You may want to take a look at the other FAQs for using the Storyline block here.

This feature was highly requested, so we’re super excited to have this first iteration live. And, we've already got more goodness planned around maturing this feature.

We love hearing your specific feedback on what would be most valuable to you, so please continue to share your ideas with us!

      Hi Ashley,

I must say this could be great feature for Rise 360.

This post is very old, so I guess by now the feture is intriduced.

Could you confirm if the feature is there or still not introduced yet.

Finger crossed for a positive reply :)

Hello, Chirag. Storyline blocks will always start over when you leave the lesson and come back in Rise 360. The bookmarking on the course is for the Rise content, and it doesn't extend down into Storyline slides.

  • Is there a way to save a user progress in Rise 360 so when they return they start in the same place or is that something that needs be set in the LMS (Lessonly in our case)?

    Thanks!!

      Hi Edward!

When a Rise course is hosted in an LMS, learners can exit and resume with their progress intact. The course will automatically pick up where they left off.

Courses published for Web will always start over at the beginning.
