Are there just the basic 'knowledge check' quizzes in rise or can you have some of the more sophisticated quizzes such as drag and drop that are in Quizmaker?
Justin mentioned that additional quiz question types are on the roadmap. We haven't set a release date at this point, but you'll be notified of every new release since you're subscribed to Articulate 360!
If there's a specific question type you'd like to see, you can share your ideas with our product development team right here. And if a drag and drop question is what you're after, you may want to look at using the sorting activity, which is a type of drag and drop that gives learners immediate feedback of correct and incorrect answers.
I'd love to see a drag and drop activity. I looked at the sorting activity but I need to have it match to an image (I am working on a quick course to identify food service equipment). Thanks
Have you checked out the Rise Sorting Activity? It's very similar to a drag-and-drop interaction.
And if that's not quite what you were looking for, you can always design a custom drag-and-drop interaction in Storyline and embed it in Rise using a Storyline Block.
Just another clarification. If I am creating a course-end assessment which is graded (scored), with drag and drop questions, can I create it using Storyline and then embed the whole set on Rise? Also, will Rise be able to calculate the score if I do so?
You can certainly embed Storyline slides in Rise using a Storyline Block. However, Storyline blocks won’t report quiz data to an LMS. In other words, any quiz questions within a Storyline block won't be scored.
Thanks for all your help. I had a query regarding drag and drop in Storyline 360.
As you suggested, i am creating a Storyline block for the drag and drop activity. I am using Freeform drag and drop. The issue is i need 1 drop object and multiple drag objects which are correct as well as incorrect answers. But even if i drag one correct option to the drop area, it shows correct.
I would like the feedback to be correct only if i have dragged and dropped all the correct options. Is there a way to do this?
At https://articulate.com/360/rise the description about quizzes in Rise mentions drag-and-drop and fill-in-the blank quiz questions. How do you create these questions in Rise? When I create a quiz, I only see the option for multiple choice or multiple response.
Thank you! I can't believe I missed the Add Question button at the bottom. As you can tell, I'm just starting to explore Rise. I was adding content to the questions that were automatically added when I created the quiz. Those questions were set up as the multiple choice/multiple response and you can select between the two options.
A learner recently took a drag and drop quiz question in Rise and her answers were incorrect, yet when she submitted her answers, all came back as correct. I checked my set-up and it was fine. I took the quiz myself and answered the same way she did, yet after I submitted I got the appropriate x's and checks for correct and incorrect answers. Should I republish and reupload to the LMS? Not sure what's happening.
Hi Ann! Can your learner duplicate this behavior if she retries the quiz? Has anyone reported a similar incident? I would recommend opening a support case here and sharing your project file as well so that our engineers can have a closer look and we'll go from there

Hi there Kim, thanks for chiming in! We always love to hear the creative things folks want to do in Rise.
Have you considered building the Drag and Drop activity in Storyline and embedding it into a Rise Embed/URL lesson or block?
Hello, I was wondering if we can now build drag and drop interactivity on Rise? Would be of much help.
Thanks
Diana

Hi Diana! Can you let me know what your settings are in the Drag and Drop Options window?
If you want to share your .story file so far, I'm happy to have a look, too!

Hey Heather and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Good eye and I hope you're loving Rise.
Here's a quick Peek recording of how to add in those question types in Rise.
Let us know if you need anything further.
