I had to switch laptops, one died. I started creating a course in Rise and I am not able to "edit" some of the lessons. Also if I close out and reopen I get a "Mischelle Walters is editing Course Name with two options to cancel or take control. Anyone else experience this??
Hi there, Mischelle. We want to make sure that only one of "you" is editing your lessons at a time. If you don't exit a lesson, and try to access it on another browser or computer, you'll see the Take Control option. You can click it and work as normal.
If you aren't able to edit a lesson at all, however, can you make a quick Peek 360 screencast and show me what happens? It'll be helpful to include the entire browser window, please!
It looks like you're using Internet Explorer to author the course, is that right?
Internet Explorer isn't a supported browser for authoring in Rise 360, so you'll want to use one of these supported browsers instead: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
Internet Explorer may be set as the default browser on your computer. You can change the default browser to Chrome by following these steps:
On your computer, click the Start menu .
Click Settings .
Click System > Default apps.
At the bottom, under "Web browser," click your current browser (probably Internet Explorer).
In the "Choose an app" window, click Google Chrome.
Good morning Alyssa - I figured that was the issue, however I have to have IE as my default browser for other work applications. Is there a way to open Articulate in Chrome?

Hopefully I did it right!
I have both IE and Chrome on my laptop - some of my work applications require IE - I don't know how to get Articulate to automatically open in Chrome

I'm in the same situation where I work, as we use IE for business purposes.
As you can only have one default browser, keep IE as the default.
When you need to work in Rise, manually launch Chrome and set https://rise.articulate.com/ as your home page.
Hi, Mischelle!
The best way would be to start by opening Chrome, then go to https://360.articulate.com/. You can access all the web apps that way.
Be sure to bookmark that page so you can reach it easily in one click!
