How can I fix the spacing between paragraphs in a Rise timeline block? I have several paragraphs in one event section and when I'm typing it out, the paragraphs each have a space between them. But when I preview the section, some spaces are gone.
I need a little help to reproduce this behavior. Could you both click this link to a tool we built to collect your browser details? Please send a screenshot back to me in your reply. You can attach it or paste it right in here.
Currently, this is how a timeline block with multiple paragraphs is working for me.
I'm having the same issue in the timeline block. The line breaks are present when i'm in the edit window but they are gone when i preview it. It's also adding a very large space randomly between other sentences.
Hi Mat, thanks for reaching out. I played around with my timeline block, and I could not get the same behavior. Can you send me a screenshot of how it looks while editing the block and how it looks when you preview the course? Also, what device and browser are you using?
Thanks for sharing your browser information, Mat? Are you by any chance using a custom font? If so, would you mind sharing it here so we can do some further troubleshooting? Thanks!
Hi Mat! Please try clearing the cache in your browser, close it, then reopen it.
Once you've done that, can you delete the font and then load it again using this .woff file? Then please create a new text block and test if the spacing is still off.
Thanks for sharing your details, Mat! I wasn't able to replicate this on my PC/Chrome environment. We'll need to troubleshoot your course so we can see what's happening. Would you mind opening a support case here. Our customer support engineers will reach out and work with you directly on your issue.

Hi Sarah,
For some reason. Rise is removing all blank lines for me in Timeline blocks.

This morning I'm unable to reproduce the issue.
I re-inserted the blank line between two text paragraphs (that previously disappeared), and this time Rise retained them.
I've gotten it to work now by using bullets since it's a lot of text. Thank you.
I'm glad you're able to move forward. Please let me know if it continues to be a problem - I want to be sure we make it easy to author!

Here you can see that in example 1 (in edit mode) only has 1 space between paragraphs. In example 2 (preview mode) it has 2 spaces.
Hi Mat! Thanks for sharing your screenshots. That is indeed odd and I tried, but I am unable to replicate the issue.
Does this happen in all supported browsers or just a specific one?
I'm using Chrome on my PC (i usually use a mac and haven't had this issue).

Yes, I was using a custom font "Maax". I tried resetting my font to Lato but the problem continues...

I'm not using Maax anymore, i switched to standard Lato. I still have the same issue.
The line breaks don't seem to save from edit mode to preview mode.
I confirmed that this problem doesn't happen on my Mac, just on my PC.
