I have noticed that when typing the text the size is 14 to start of with but on changing to e.g 12, 14 or 20 it makes the font look smaller and is not consistent.
I have also had issues when pasting text from Powerpoints.
Hey, Shilpa! I'm sorry you're having trouble here.
This is actually working as designed. So that the text you enter doesn't take up too much space in the sidebar editor, the font size you see by default is actually much smaller than what's displayed on the flashcard itself. The displayed font size is actually 30pt.
When you modify the font size in the editor, you'll see that actual font size applied to the text and reflected on the card itself.
In regards to PowerPoint, it may be that there is hidden formatting in the text you're copying. That can have unexpected results when you paste it into Rise 360. If all you need is the content, I'd recommend pasting the text into Notepad first, that should clear out any formatting. Then, copy from there and paste as usual.
Hope that helps! Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
I had this issue in Rise and edited my text w/out using the Edit function. Then I could select the font. It showed 14 in the Edit window and was actually 17 in the document.
When you selected the font and changed the font size, were you able to get that to work? If not, I would have our Support Team take a look. You can submit a case here.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
