As long as your lower image settings has no padding for Padding Top, and your upper image settings has no no padding for Padding Bottom, when you preview or publish, that white space where it says "enter some text" will go away. Rise is expecting that you might add a caption, but if you don't, it won't be there in the output, just in the edit mode.
