Hello Ashley, I also use knowledge checks in my Rise lessons. I understand that it reveals immediate feedback with the correct answer. However, at the same time, it offers the retry option. I had a lot of feedback from the learners that it does not make sense after they already saw what correct answer is. Is there anything that could be done? Can I disable retry option?
Right now, there isn't a way to disable or remove the retry option but our team has logged a feature request for this ability and we'll make sure we add your voice to the discussion.
Please reach out if we can help with anything else.
Thank you, do you know when this option will be rolled out?
Also, is it possible to make the correct answer stand out more? perhaps make the tick bigger, or a different colour? Would I need to use CSS and edit manually to do this? Can this option be added to the feature request too?
I don’t currently have any updates, but you are now subscribed to this conversation which means as we share updates here, you’ll automatically be notified.
I'll go ahead and add your additional feedback about making the correct answer stand out more to the feature request.
If there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
Seems flawed to us too. Why 'try again' and before that you see the correct answer. The 'try again' should either not be there or the correct answer should be a switch off / on option. Especially as you could give the correct answer in the feedback if you wanted to.
What is an indicative time we get this feature put in? We are receiving a number of feedback on this flaw from our users. Is there anything you can do to help bump this request up the priority chain?
Hello, Ei-Leen! This isn't a feature that is on our roadmap right now, but we're still tracking your requests. For a peek into how we manage feature requests like these, click here.
We have a lot of customers that also are not happy that "try again" comes up when you actually have the correct answer on a knowledge check. So here's another vote.
Please add my +1 for the option to suppress 'try again'
It doesn't seem like it would be a difficult change for your development team to make and one that has a significant degree of sponsorship from your customers.
What the heck. This is ridiculous! I've created this whole course, which my reviewers won't sign off on, because of this annoying unfeature. Who thought that was a good idea. In what world.
I too would like to have the ability to control the number of attempts allowed and or to remove the 'try again' option for knowledge checks correct responses. Creating the knowledge check questions in Storyline creates additional work.
Hi Khaja. The folks in this discussion are talking about this Take Again option that shows at the bottom of a knowledge check question even if answered correctly:
You can test this out using a knowledge check block in your own Rise courses. We don't have an update about removing that option right now. We'll share here if anything changes.
It's a bit disappointing to see that 2 years later the feature has not been implemented yet. It is essential for students to be able to retry in formative assessments. Hoping to see the feature added soon.

I'd love this feature too....
Please, work hard :D
I, too, am interested in this feature.
Thanks, James and Rafael!

Any updates on this? We also have a lot of feedback from our learners that it makes no sense to retry the quiz after you've seen the correct answer.
Hi Marta,
There isn't a way to remove the "take again" option from the knowledge check block, but thanks for letting us know you need this feature!
Def a required feature...
+1 for removing the "take again" option!
Any updates on this feature request?
No updates yet, Kelly! Thanks for checking in!

Hi, +1 for me too, and can we also have the option to control where to place the submit button?
Perhaps, at the end of the knowledge check
Cheers!
hi, this looks interesting can anyone share a sample source file of knowledge check questions where retry option is coming
