Missing items of Rise roadmap?

I've been keeping an eye on the roadmap for Articulate products (always keen for new or improved features that improve the product!) and I was surprised to see that a few things that used to be on the Rise list are now missing. Does this mean they are no longer happening? 

For example, I am sure there was a mention of linking block backgrounds on here. 

It would be useful for the roadmap to give more information regarding timelines or reasons when something is delayed. I understand that development timelines can change but without more detail it can feel like a list of far-off promises, especially if items are then removed without explanation.

Can anyone provide more detail or explanation?
