No passed-statement for course completion in Rise

Aug 28, 2019

Hi everyone,

I've been asking around in existing threads, but since this is very important for us and kinda urgent, I'm asking here again.

We're facing some issues having Rise send a passed-statement to our LMS.

I built several very short courses with a single Rise lesson - most of them only contain a video as well as some text.
Since these courses are so small, Rise's intro page just feels like a completely unnecessary click, so I've changed the launch page in the tincan.xml to the lesson - so the intro page is skipped when learners start the course.
The tracking is set to track course completion 100%.

It seems however, that skipping the intro page with its 'start course' button prevents Rise from sending a passed-statement. I tested it in our own LMS as well as in Scorm Cloud, but I'm only able to get a launched-statement.
Once I leave the intro page be everything works just fine.

Did someone manage to get Rise to send a passed statement without the intro page/start button?
We really don't want to use the intro page or extra buttons (our LMS has an integrated exit button).

Any tips are really appreciated!
