Is there a way to remove the grey line under captions when you put them under an image? For reference, I have included banners in my Rise module. They include static text. Therefore a screen reader is unable to read them. I have consequently written them out in the caption box, underneath in the background colour to disguise them.
Hi, Phoebe! The grey line under the caption will appear when you add any caption to your image, and there isn't a way to hide it. You can add alternative text to your image so it can be read by your screen reader. Check out this article for the detailed steps. I hope this helps!
Ah right. I tried using a screen reader with the alternative text and it didn't pick it up. Are you able to let me know the best screen reader/s that are compatible with Rise at all? I did an accessibility course with you guys a few months ago and can't remember the one that was suggested.
