RISE 360 and Canvas with HTML only

A few years ago when I started using Canvas LMS, I could add SCORM to the Navigation bar and add a Rise course, if needed. My university had decided that there are security issues with this and it is NOT available. 

I can export the Rise course as Web file, zip the file, and import into Canvas under Files. However, once I'm at at that point, I can only add a single file (index.html) to a Module. I don't believe I'm getting all functionality if I only add the index.html file to a Module. For instance, there is no way to close the course, I don't see a preview, and other issues. 

Is there a fix for this? Am I just setting up the Module in Canvas incorrectly?
