I have tried closing and logging back in. The file sizes of my own images are 790kb or less.
Yes, happening for me too! Glad i'm not the only one. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Good news! Rise is back up and running.
You may need to refresh your course or relaunch your browser before uploading your images to your Rise course, and you should be good to go!
