I have a Rise course that contains multiple Storyline blocks per lesson that allow a Learner to enter their answers into a text entry field based on a scenario they have read. The problem is when the Learner navigates from one lesson to another the information entered into the text entry field is not retained. Is there a way to make the text entry fields retain the data from one lesson to another?
Unfortunately, Storyline blocks within Rise act independently of one another and variable data is not retained. Whether there is a clever way of achieving this with Javascript, for example, I'm not sure, but if there is, I am sure a js guru will get back to you shortly.
Thanks Phil. I wasn't able to fully follow the instructions as the posts seemed to assume that I already know what local storage is. So does this basically use javascript to store variable information in a browser's local storage?

You could use local storage https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/storyline-3-and-the-use-of-localstorage-in-different-browsers
