I am trying to incorporate a timeline to my course, but when adding new content I can select only from quiz or lesson option. I did copy a timeline to the course level from the example course, but I would like to know how I can do it myself in the future.

Hi Agnes,
The Timeline shown in your screenshot no longer exists. It used to be a type of Lesson, but it has now become a block type within a Lesson.
You will find the Timeline block under the Interactive category.
