I added an MP4 video created in Storyline to Rise but when I publish my course and try to view the video in the Review version, the video is not playing. I am getting an error message that the media cannot be loaded either because the server connection has failed or format is not supported.
Hi there, Shailesh. We're seeing this error message on a handful of videos in Rise 360 lessons exported to Review 360 or an LMS. We would love to help:
Please try deleting the video block and adding it again with the same video file. Then, export your course to Review 360 again. This has worked for some people seeing this error.
We are also seeing this error as well. The recommendations you have listed did not resolve the issue. I would also like to add that the error is seen in both Preview and our LMS and is inconsistent. Often, upon revisiting the lesson, the videos will work.
Hello, everyone! In today's update for Rise 360, we fixed an issue where video blocks displayed an error message that the media cannot be loaded.
To correct the issue for an existing course, upload the affected videos again, then export the updated course for your LMS or republish it to Review 360.
