Set the Continue block settings to "complete the bock immediately above". Now the student has to attempt the Knowledge Check block. However, after attempting the Knowledge Check block they can continue, without answering the Knowledge Check block correctly.

This can't be done using the Navigation Settings.
Immediately after your Knowledge Check bock, add a Divider / Continue block.
Set the Continue block settings to "complete the bock immediately above".
Now the student has to attempt the Knowledge Check block.
However, after attempting the Knowledge Check block they can continue, without answering the Knowledge Check block correctly.
