Is it possible to let CONTINUE button appear only when "button stack" has been worked off?

Sep 26, 2018

Hi all,

First; should I post such questions in the "Rise" or the "Building better Courses" section?

Second; I have here a Rise step that presents the table of content of a 7 step course called "Smart Home with KNX Standard: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/f832fcca-0095-4906-b814-3b35012dc79a/review

Lesson 3 is the table of content which I created with a "button stack". I now would like the "CONTINUE" button below only to appear, once all seven steps in the content have been worked off by the learners.

Is this not possible or didn't I find the right customization feature?

Thx in advance for your support and best regards
Roland

Hi there, Roland.  You're in the right place!  We'll support you wherever you land.

I'm sure you have everything set up the right way, but button blocks don't require completion for Continue blocks to function.

You can use continue blocks to require learners to complete checkbox lists, audio blocks, video blocks, accordions, tabs, labeled graphics, processes, sorting activities, flashcards, knowledge checks, and Storyline blocks. (Although button blocks are interactive, you can’t require learners to complete them.)

Is there another way you can control navigation and make sure your learners are viewing all the "button block" content?  I'm not sure what other navigation settings you have in place, but perhaps taking a linear path through those lessons would work.
