Rise - search and replace is a lesson / course?

Apr 08, 2018

Hi there, I was wondering if it's possible to do a search and replace throughout a lesson, or even course? I have a few key words needing changed throughout...

Cheers

Hi there!  There is not a find and replace functionality within Rise, but once you're in a lesson you should be able to do a control+F (or a Command+F if working on a Mac) to find a certain word and the website will highlight it.  You could also try publishing it to Articulate Review and then going through the course, leaving yourself comments within the lessons noting instances of that word!

Entire course search is being actively developed, and hopefully deployed soon. This would help reduce the time to Ctrl-F all the individual course sections while editing (especially non visible text in accordions or labeled graphic pop-ups).

See Adam's comments on page 2 noting it for within the next 90 days (about three months

and then page 3 for fellow users clamoring for said feature. :)

The search feature was implemented in the 90-day time period the Articulate team stated for it. The feature they said would be available was not inclusive of search *and* replace.

The replace has to be done manually (using Search and Replace in Word as a precedent)... and the search is only available in Preview or Share link modes.
