Hi All,
I am new to Articulate.
We have 120 questions which are categorized into 6 lessons.
We would like to have 6 groups with 20 questions in each Group.
From Each group of 20 questions we want to make couple of Mandatory questions and couple of them randomly picked. We do not want to set the Mandatory questions to be asked at the first or at the last of the group.
Final output is 30 questions Articulate test which should include 5 questions from each group.
All 5 questions should be Shuffled (Not in a sequential order) . In 5 questions 2 are mandatory questions and 3 are picked from the pool of 18 questions in the group. (Considering 2 are mandatory. 20-2 = 18)
Can you please help me with this.
Thanks
Ande

Hi Ande
It sounds like you may have already seen this, but you'll want to use the question locking feature in Quizmaker. Question locking allows you to specify that a particular question within a randomized group will always be asked in the specified position, or will always be included in the group of randomized questions. If you don't want to lock the question(s) to the first or last order in a selected group, you would have to lock them to each other.
Hope that's helpful!
Hi Peter,
Locking the Question to one another makes the Mandatory Questions in a sequential Order. Which we dont want to.

Is there an option to Lock one question?
Right, that seems to be the limitation that you'd run into. I'm not personally aware of a way around that. Perhaps someone will be able to jump in with an outside-the-box solution.
If you'd like to to request that as a future feature, please feel free to do so.
