I have been provided seperate audio files that I need to sync to play with selected video files.
I think I see a good way to do that by using a Object trigger that will play the sound file when the uses presses a selected key.
The video being played on the is using the video controls so there is a "play button" on the video. The trigger wants me to enter the "key" that is pressed. How do I determine what the key-variable name should be for the video-play button?
If there is a better way to sync the audio to the video please let me know.
Is it crucial that you use the video controls? If so, you won't be able to trigger the actual "Play" button the video. It might be easier to have custom play, pause and stop buttons for the video and audio, if you want to control both of them at the same time.
Or - and this is just a suggestion - you could create a single video screen recording of the video while playing the audio in the background (just make sure your screen recording settings include the option for "Speakers"). That way, you'd have one video to control that includes both the audio and video.
