After you download the .artkpkg file, just double-click it to install.
Next time you open Engage to create a new interaction, choose Community Interactions and then select Carousel.

This is a great tool! Question - as the animations are going around is there anyway to stop them for each stop you take (does this make sense?) So for example I click the arrow from Introduction to Step 1 can clipart ect. be stopped and coordinated with the image on the carousel?

I like your concept and in fact originally thought of building the Carousel in this way. In the end I chose to have the images continuously rotate when the mouse is not hovered over the carousel region. If you would like to see your concept in a future release please submit a feature request at the following link.

I'm pleased to hear you like the Carousel interaction. Unfortunately, the current UI (user interface) for community interactions does not allow adding more than one image per step. I'll give this some thought and get back to you here if I can find a "hack" to workaround this current limitation.

If you're asking how did I create this Engage Interaction with the SDK, I didn't go into detail or create a step by step tutorial for this. If you are asking how to use the Carousel interaction, you can watch the tutorials at the following link. Most all interactions are authored in a similar way.

I am having issues with downloading the Carousel interaction. I have tried a few steps indicated in some of the earlier discussion threads but the steps have not work. All I keep getting is the .zip file. I do not have the option of downloading the interaction on a different browser. Can you suggest what I can do?

If you are able to download the .zip file, this a good. Once downloaded, you need to right-click the zip file and select Extract. This should extract the Carousel.artpkg file needed to install and use this interaction. Just double-click the extracted Carousel.artpkg file to install.

Hi David,
Has anyone had any issues with the carousel graphics populating correctly after publishing? When I preview the carousel engagement slide, everything works perfectly, but when I initially view after publishing, the graphics do not fully or properly appear. (the generic "no image" graphic pops up multiple times with maybe a few actual graphics.) But if I move to another slide and return to this engagement, everything appears fine. It's only occurs when someone initially plays that slide does this occur, subsequent views work fine. (unless someone emptys their cache folder, then the error occurs again.) It appears to be a loading issue? Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Unfortunately, I am now experiencing the same issue that others above have been having with locating the .artpkg file inside the zipped folder.

You may already have discovered this on your own since your original posts, but yes, you can insert a Carousel interaction from Engage into Storyline.
After creating your Carousel interaction in Engage, publish it and then use the instructions found here to insert your Engage interaction into Storyline:
