I have been teaching for almost 30 years. I have taught English and ESL/EFL at middle school and high school in Canada and Brunei. I have taught at adult language institutes in Canada and Korea. Mostly I have taught credit and non-credit English courses in Korea and the United Arab Emirates. I am currently in the Department of Writing Studies at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. My interests are in encouraging independent study (by creating an online resource center) and CALL. I had an online resource center for my students, but I took it down. I'm planning to re-launch it over the summer after I have fancied it up - hopefully with the help of Articulate.
