About
Veronica Lewis
I'm born and raised in Chicago. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a BS in Biology and did my medical laboratory sciences training at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center (now known as Rush University). My Specialist in Blood Bank training was done at UIC Hospital. My MS in Medical Laboratory Sciences was also earned at UIC. My major area of work has been teaching medical laboratory sciences to undergraduate and graduate students at UIC and Rush University. I developed and directed an online Specialist in Blood Bank Program using Blackboard and Web CT LMS systems. I retired from university teaching in order to join USDTL which is a toxicology laboratory owned and operated by my husband and me. My husband has been in the toxicology laboratory business for the past 40 years. I am currently active in the development of USDTL Educate, an online education and training resource for employees and clients. -
