We have put a link from a Captivate module to an Engage Interaction (Glossary). The link/button opens a new browser window for the interaction, but at the same time takes the user to a new slide in Captivate that pauses the module and has a button that goes back to where the user was in the Captivate module when they clicked on the button to the interaction. It was a good solution for us.
I don't see an option to change the AS3 to AS2 in the Publish settings. I am pretty sure I am not missing anything in the Preferences, but will check again.

These interactions can all be replicated in Captivate. It would take more time than Engage of course, but all three of those can be done directly in Captivate.

Do you know where I'd find tutorials on how to replicate these? I really want to use Engage but it's too frustrating working with Articulate '09 with all the glitches I've encountered.

No you cannot, both Quizmaker and Engage cannot have AS3 items inserted into them

My challenge is I want to insert an engage interaction in a captivate 5.5 module.
@Blake, I will try and see if I can do something similar.
Just curious... which interaction were you wanting to insert into Captivate?
Actually multiple... I have Process, Tabs, Media Tour etc.
