I recently downloaded the awesome blue reflection ppt that uses Philosopher font. I am able to use that font when I'm building slides in Power Point but am unable to use the same font when I create an Engage interaction. Does anyone have any advice?
Is the font a TrueType font, or an OpenType font? Studio '09 applications are Microsoft .NET Framework applications so only fonts supported by .NET Framework are supported in the applications. Some open type fonts are supported but not all are. The issue may be that the font is not supported by the Microsoft .NET Framework. If this is a font you created, or downloaded, you'll need to convert it to TrueType and the font should work.
It may work in PowerPoint, but it won't carry over to Engage. The font will need to be converted to TrueType in order to use it in Engage. Can you post the font file here? You should be able to attach it by using the paperclip icon in your response.
Thanks for the file. I was able to install the font on my system and use the font in Engage. You can take a look at an example I created with the font, here.
I did notice something that may be causing the problem for you. Find the actual font file and right-click on that file. Then, click on "Properties". When I first viewed this, I saw a message under "General" stating the font may have been blocked. If you see the same thing, try clicking on "Unblock", then "Apply" and "Ok". If Engage is still currently open, close it and relaunch it.
If you still don't see the font listed in the drop-down menu when you select text, try restarting your machine. If you still don't see it, can you tell me what type of interaction you're working with?
First, "Unblock" the font then install it. To install it, double-click on the file. It should open a new window. In that window, you should see an option to "Install". Click on that button and let me know if you're able to see it afterwords.
OK, when I double click on the font, it just opens up a window that contains a representation of what the font looks like in different point size. Nothing happens after that. The only action i can take is to choose "Done".
Looks like it was installed before unlocking it, or there's just some other conflict with it. Have you restarted the computer? If not, please try doing so. If that doesn't help, please go ahead and contact our support team so they can take a closer look at what's going on.

Hi. I attempted all of your troubleshooting tips. Still no font. I did have the "font block" situation and unblocked it.
Is there anything else I need to do to install a font?
I am creating a FAQ.
