How do I switch interactions that already contain content?

I'm afraid I'm not entirely clear on what you're wanting to do. 

Are you wanting to swap out an interaction that's inserted into your Presenter course with a new file? You can certainly do that. 

If, however, you're wanting to just change interaction types (say place the content of a Pyramid with a Labeled Graphic), this isn't possible. You'll need to put the content into the new interaction - there isn't a way to pull the data into a new file, because most of the time, the interactions are quite a bit different.

I do think this would make a pretty excellent feature, but I'm not exactly sure how it would go. Perhaps export content from an existing interaction into a data file, then select the fields/slides you'd like to use to hold that content in the new interaction?

Either way, it would certainly be useful. If you'd like to see an option like this in the future, I'd suggest reaching out to our product development team through this form. Try to be as detailed as possible - the more information we have, the better!
