Leaving an interaction and returning to the main presentation

Aug 22, 2011

I am using a tab interaction as for   'how to use this course' instructions.

I would like to enable a learner to leave the interaction after reading the introduction if they already know how to use - and return to the main course.

Is there a way to achieve this?

On the intro screen, you can put two buttons. One that says "View Course Help" and the other, "Continue with Course".

They hyperlink on the first one would go to the next page which is the help. the hyperlink on the second would branch to the main course first screen.

If you use this approach, you should make sure to update the Branching in the slide properties to have the Previous slide of the main course to branch back over to the intro screen and not the help screen.

I put my help in a guided image Engage file and make a tab at the top. then make note on the first screen in the CC or notes, if they need help to click the Help tab above. that way, they can get back to it whenever they need it.
