Adding a flash .swf file

I added an swf to my ppt 2007 file with the articulate command insert flash movie and when using slide show mode in powerpoint it works fine.  However when previewing in articulate it does not play, nor does it play when published.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Can you help.  I did save after I inserted.
