I just upgraded to Articulate 13 and when I try to sync animations using the annotation tools, they do not work. Only the box shows up and then it disappears when I take my hand off the mouse.
I'm not sure I understand what is happening on your end, does the sync animation window appear like the image below:
It may be easier to help diagnose what's happening if you're able to connect with our Support team and there will be an option on the second page to record a screencast of what your seeing.
I have the same problem. Annotations do not work. The window opens. I click on Start Annotation. The slide progresses through the audio and animations. When I use the mouse to drag a rectangular box, or a highlight, or click for an arrow, I can see the box but it disappears when I let go of the mouse button. Checkmarks do not appear at all. When I play the slide, there is no annotation there. I opened a support case.
I see your case (# 00362289 for my reference) has been assigned to Gren who will be in touch shortly. I'll follow along as well to help update this thread.
Same problem with me. Former annotations do not show up and new annotations can't be made. Further, the audio records made in Studio 09 do not stop when you listen to them and when they are completed. They run endlessly.
I see that Gren reported this issue to our QA team, and they're aware of the issue and we're working to resolve it as quickly as possible. The issue is being caused by the latest version of Flash player so in the meantime, our QA team has suggested downgrading the Flash player version within Internet Explorer.
