The tutorial shows how to add annotations and has an example of a presentation that also has 'animations'.
I don't see a Screenr, but the directions show 'Start Sync' and then a 'Next Animation' button. If you are not seeing this, you must not have animations. You should still be able to follow the steps to add your annotations as needed, you just do not have animations to go through as well.
