This just started happening yesterday. I'm working with a 20+ slide project and pictures and titles have been deleted while working on it. I open the file...start working somewhere in the middle..when I go back to the first slide the picture is gone? I replace it again...save...and go back to working and later go back to the first slide and this time the picture is there but the title is missing. I replace it save it...work on another slide...go back and the picture is missing again. This seems to happen arbitrarily withe the last slide's picture and titles. Very frustrating! Any suggestions on how to stop this? It wasn't doing this before yesterday?!

My first thought is that maybe the template or Presenter file is somehow corrupt. To check that, you might try opening a new PPT/Presenter file and see if you can replicate the problem. I know this takes time, but it would be could to find out if it's just that file that's the problem.
Also, are you just working with PPT slides, or are you working in Engage interactions and Quizmaker quizzes?
I can try that, but oh my, that will take time. I did a search to see if anyone else has experienced similar issues and I did see a post from someone in 2010 that was the exact problems I was experiencing. There wasn't a solution though posted, only a request for the files. The template I'm using is one that is standard with Powerpoint - nothing fancy. I do have both quizmaker and engage in this project.

Is there a certain type of slide that the oddness happens to--e.g. quiz question or Engage interaction, or PPT slide?
