Not sure if it's me or the new Articulate Presenter 2013, but it seems very, very slow when previewing a single slide. Even more so when multiple slides are previewed. Is anyone else having this experience?
8 minutes sounds excessive, but I suppose that is a function of the length of your slides. I typically try to keep slides under 60 seconds. Superstition maybe, but I suspect it might help in loading and minimizing "hung" slides.
I'm guessing that my slides render for preview in about 10 seconds per slide.
8 minutes does definitely sound excessive for 3 slides, but as Russ mentioned it also depends on what you would have on the slide (image, animation, audio, etc. heavy). If the previewing takes just as long for a slide without a lot of content on it, I'd suggest to begin by checking that you're up to date with the system requirements here for Presenter and then if you're still having difficulty conducting a repair of Presenter.
