Articulate Limits?

May 23, 2011

Hi

Do anyone know of any problems or limitations to the depth of hierarchy in organizing slides using the Articulate – Slide Properties?

Each time I attempt to set the hierarchy (organize slides to various levels from one topic to the next), my Articulate install seems to get corrupted.

My lecture has 247 slides, each one narrated, and my hierarchy, when setting slide organization with the Slide Properties under the Articulate Tab sometimes gets down to level 5.

I’ve had to uninstall and then reinstall Articulate Studio several times because of this.

I had a similar question.  I'm rebuilding a LARGE (800 slides) course as a refresher course in SL..  So far, so good.  Lot's of the slides can easily be consolidated.  But I'm only about 1/3 done.  A coworker working in Captivate had a problem when she got to about 300 slides.  She broke the course into modules and used a Captivate aggregator product to make it appear to be one course.  Before I get to far into this and have to backtrack and break down, I wondered about slide size and if I run into a similiar issue, is there an aggregator approach for Articulate products as well.  Thanks!
