When we click on Audio Editor, power point hangs. This happens to the files which is stored on a network share. Our users profile points to a network share by default so the power point will launch with that share as working directory.
To make this working we have to open the power point with local drive as working directory and need to copy the presentation files on local C drive against network share.
I'm sorry you've hit such a snag! We do always recommend that folks work on local files as working off a network or shared drive is known to cause issues with the file and could lead to corruption.
I'd recommend downloading the Presenter package to your C drive (desktop) and then choosing to open the file there. You'll see some good steps here to share with colleagues about collaborating.
I hope that helps, and please let me know if you need anything else!
It really is true that you shouldn't even try running Articulate off of a networked drive. Even though your My Documents folder is mapped to a network drive, you'll need to create another folder locally if you don't want to have issues. Then use something like OneDrive or Dropbox, or if those aren't options, look into backing up your files to a network drive with a tool like SyncToy.
I haven't heard about adding support for network/shared drives being on our roadmap, but it's something that I'd always suggest sharing more thoughts on in a Feature requests here.

The projects are kept in shared location because it can be shared between other team members.
And in our firm its lock down environment and users My documents are mapped to shared drive.
By keeping files in share drive also make sure data is safe in case of system crashes.
Hi Shibin,
I certainly understand and sorry that it's causing you such difficulty. Our best practices state working locally to help prevent such odd behavior.

Ok. Will you be releasing any patch to fix this in future.
