I'm getting some erratic behaviour from the player tabs in AS 13 when I publish. Sometimes it duplicates the title of an Engage tab that has been added but when you click on the tab that appears it links to one of the interactions. A bit of a glitch I think as it's not been set to be programmed like that. Can you advise?
To prevent erratic behavior, you'll want to ensure that you're working on local project files and that when you publish your Presenter course you're testing within the intended environment.
Yes I'm working off the local files and I published for the web. When I view from the URL link I see the same as if I were to preview the published presentation on my local drive. I'll send the package to you.Our other developer had this same issue too.
I see that you and Vira are doing some additional testing, and yesterday you were not able to recreate the problem. Vira shared the steps to regenerate your project log files:
At this point, I suggest you also try to regenerate your project.log file. Sometimes, when this file gets corrupted. random issues can occur with your project.
*** Regenerate the Articulate project.log file *** The Articulate project.log file is accessed every time a presentation is modified or published. If there is a problem with this log file, Presenter may cause random issues. It's easy to regenerate. Here's how:
1. Close PowerPoint. 2. Navigate to Start > Run in Windows XP or Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run in Windows Vista / 7. 3. Type %appdata%\Articulate\Presenter\Project into the Run dialog, and click OK. 4. In the window that opens, locate the project.log file, and rename it to project.log.bak. 5. Then launch your PowerPoint presentation, and attempt to import audio or record narration again. (Articulate will generate a new project.log file the next time you edit or publish a presentation.)

Hi Kate,

If you continue to experience erratic behavior, you may also want to conduct a repair of the Studio software, and the supporting Microsoft software. If you'd like us to test your files, please create a Presenter package and send along to our team on the second page here.

Thanks Kate for the update and if you'd like to let me know the case number I'll follow along as well!
