I have audio recorded and it sounds perfect when playing the stand alone file. When importing the audio into Articulate the audio is distorted and plays only a loud hissing. Please advise.

The audio was actually originally recorded in Soundbooth and was formatted as a 16 bit WAV file. This is why I am confused at the resulting fuzzy/hissing noise rather than my audio. Could there be some other culprit?
Hi Jessica. Soundbooth likely is not exporting in a supported WAV format. The correct format is 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV. I'm guessing it's not a PCM WAV file. Here are instructions for batch encoding WAV files using iTunes:
