Audio playlist doesn't play when published

Jul 28, 2017

Hello,

I am using Articulate 2013 within PowerPoint 2010. I have inserted an audio playlist within the slide properties for background music for all of my slides... I have no issues hearing it along with my narration when I preview my project. However, when I publish it, the music is gone and only the narration can be heard.

Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Hello!

I have tried publishing in the Web and LMS formats, and then clicking the presentation_html5 version to test it since that's the only way that will play the project. It is my local computer at work and it has heavy security, but I'm not sure as to why it's just the music that won't play! I have attached my package.

Hey Alexis-- Thanks for getting back to me and sharing your file!

If you're publishing for Web, make sure to upload it to a website when testing otherwise you'll run into some hiccups locally. Tempshare is a great place to do this.

I published your course and uploaded to Tempshare to test it out on the web. Take a look at it here and let me know if you're still hitting that snag.

Also- if you do need the ability to play it on your local machine without uploading it to the web, use the CD publishing option then double click the launch_story.exe in the published output to run the course.

Keep me posted on how that goes!
