Audio playlist for background music to play over all slides does not work for HTML5... when will this be fixed? Or does someone have a workaround? I thought I did, but it doesn't work. This is a huge issue and would like to understand why it doesn't work.

I don't have any information to share in regards to if this will be in a future update or version, but currently it's not supported in HTML5 as detailed here in the comparison chart.
You're welcome to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request - and I'll defer to the community for ideas and workarounds.
