I use Audacity to create MP3 narration, and the sound is crystal clear. I import that same MP3 into my PPTX/Articulate file (Office 2007/Articulate Pro 9) file, and play the audio via Articulates Audio Editor - again it plays crystal clear. When I publish the slides both as Preview and Publish, the audio becomes less crisp and tinny (if that makes sense). Any suggestions?
Have you looked at adjusting the quality settings for audio as a part of the publish?
You also mentioned an MP3, and although we support a wide range of audio file formats (AAC, AIF, AIFF, M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA), not all codecs and bitrates are supported. If you encounter issues with audio, we recommend converting your audio files to 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV for best results.
Happy to hear you were able to figure it out Mary and thanks for the update! Also just an FYI replying via email includes your signature here in the forums so you're welcome to edit and remove that information if you'd like.

Thank you Ashley,
You were right, there was something off in the settings. It had to do with feedback.
Thank you for the suggestion!
